When did you establish your business? Artisan Roast started 2007. I joined Artisan Roast 3 years ago
What’s your favourite coffee style and why?
Espresso. Because of its very nature: it's short, intense, lingering, beautiful. After all this time in Artisan Roast I can consider it as my fuel. Also, complements tobacco.
Why are you passionate about coffee?
Because, through years, I've discovered it's not just a good drink. It's far more than this. The whole industry with its ups and downs, bright and dark sides, its social impact, its look and the way it evolves and changes. It can be hard and business-driven but at the same time really laid down and chilled. This is why I'm still passionate about coffee. It can be approached from any direction.

You know Artisan Roast as Scottish roasters but we have a twin company in Malaysia with three coffee shops. And if that's not enough, we are opening one in Chile. (loud cheers!)
