Synergy Cycles (4♥) is both a high-end bicycle shop and a much -frequented coffee shop by aspiring and serious cyclists.

Owner Donnie MacLeod always serves Union as their house blend and generally also has a seasonal coffee from Aberfeldy's Glen Lyon Coffee Roaster. They take their coffee seriously, being avid cyclists themselves. So do their constant stream of slightly exhausted cyclists who come through the front door with great relief on their faces.

The shop is large with lots of beautiful cycling gear including very covetable bikes, clothing and pretty much every spare part, accessory and 'must have' for cyclists off and on-road.

But this is also very much a relaxed coffee shop that non-cyclists enjoy as well. It's a nice space to be in with loads of light from the glass shop frontage. There's a big communal table as well a bench along the front window so you can people (or bike) watch. The chairs and tables outside are also very inviting on a sunny day.

Donnie has a selection of high quality cakes, croissants as well as filled rolls to keep you going. His build and repair shop is out the back, in a room shared with more cycling gear to purchase.
