Cheapshot has been recommended to us by a number of people but, due to opening hours coinciding with office hours, we're yet to get over there to try it out.

We can tell you that Paddy Maher is the owner and barista, he's passionate about speciality coffee and he serves it up from his Police Box shop.

Don't be misled by the name, the coffee Paddy's using isn't 'cheap' - in fact we love Leith-based Williams & Johnson's coffee - it's just that Paddy is set up in an area where many of his customers and community are Uni students, so his keeping the cost of is coffee down.

All the usual espresso-based coffees are on offer, plus some home tray bake type items.
